In-Kind Gifts
In addition to financial contributions, St. Joseph Home gratefully accepts In-Kind Gifts of needed items for our residents. Many of these items are needed on a continual basis, and the donation of such items cuts our expenses. As our residents communicate with switches and noise-making toys, we go through a great deal of batteries, so these are especially appreciated. Here is a sampling of the items that are often needed:
- AA, C, D batteries
- Canvas Backpacks
- Walkmans
- CD/Cassette players for bedrooms
- CDs: variety of music
- Musical interactive toys
- Electric triple head shavers
- Thin wash cloths (white or pastel)
- Hand-held hair dryers
- Gas station gift cards
