A creative, loving environment for those in need of residential and respite care
St. Joseph Home of Cincinnati, located in suburban Sharonville, is home to 48 children and adults with severe/profound mental and physical disabilities. We provide 24-hour nursing and personal care for our residents as well as our short-term guests at our Harold C. Schott Respite Center.
St. Joseph Home is staffed by approximately 150 caring people who work in nursing, direct care, active treatment, physical and occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, nutrition, and psychological services.
What's new at SJH
Each new year, many of us make resolutions to improve ourselves, perhaps by eating right, acting a bit more kindly, or getting more involved in our communities. The residents of St. Joseph Home also strive to reach their own goals for improvement each year. For some, it’s drinking from a cup; for others, using their communication switch to participate in an activity. Activities around the Home are designed to help each resident reach his or her full potential, perhaps by taking turns at a game of indoor whiffle ball, painting a picture, or using a special switch to operate cooking equipment. It’s wonderful to see our residents continue to grow and develop.
